The intention was to create a look reminiscent of 1980s television studio recordings: late night BBC 2 shows your folks might let you stay up and watch, wondering who these strangely-dressed and androgenous creatures were. This meant high contrast, low-grade, smudgy images full of chromatic aberation, bleed and distortion, fades and general degraded image grime…

I developed a simple combination of in-camera and post techniques to produce this video.
